Member [Your name here] was a caregiver for her aging mother who had many doctors appointments each month. However, she was struggling with the cost of time away from work and gas to get to the clinic. Empowerment Place, with the generosity of its donors, gifted her a pre-paid gas card along with payment of her hourly wage for the time off work so she wouldn't have that added stress.
